Perth’s median house sale price continues to climb

Perth’s median house sale price has seen a steady rise, with a 1.9% increase in August and a significant 20.7% growth over the last year, reaching $688,000.

Time of market has remained steady sitting at around 9 days on market, just one day faster than a year ago. The number of active listings reached 3,499 by the end of August. This marked a 9.4% increase from July but was 32.5% lower compared to the same time last year.

Rental Market Update

Perth’s rental market showed signs of stabilising, as the median weekly rents for dwellings and houses remained unchanged at $650 per week.

At the end of August, there were 2,182 properties listed for rent on reiwa.com.au. This showed a 12.8% decrease from July, but a 33.6% increase compared to the previous year.
