Alan Bourke will proudly accept the award in May 2024
On Thursday 26th November 2023, the Bourkes team was delighted to connect with Western Australia’s Real Estate heavyweights and attend the Annual Reiwa Awards for Excellence. This is the third time Bourkes has been honoured with the award. Not only is this real estate “night of nights” a perfect opportunity to celebrate our team and get dressed up, but it also offers the rare opportunity to celebrate the achievements of WA Real Estate as a whole.
“In our industry, it’s important to demonstrate credibility and excellence at any given opportunity. In the golden age of access to information, our work is on display at every corner and it can feel highly competitive. We are very grateful to be recognised by our peers with this award. It shows that we’re on the right path and doing the right thing. That we’re honouring our promise to provide the best experience for our clients.”
Receiving the 2023 title for “Medium Agency of the Year” marks Bourkes’ imminent induction into the Reiwa Awards for Excellence Hall of Fame. Consequently, Bourkes will no longer be eligible to receive the award. “It means I don’t have to submit the nomination forms again!” Alan Bourke jokes. Joking aside, Bourke is very grateful for this achievement given the company’s 35+ year history. “We are very honoured, and I look forward to accepting the Hall of Fame award next year.”
Three awards of this stature over 35+ years is a team effort. Bourkes currently has a team of some 20-strong across sales, property management, marketing and administration. The award could not have been accepted without the efforts of the Bourkes team throughout a very challenging year in real estate. From humble beginnings as “Alan Bourke Real Estate” all those years ago, the team has evolved, grown and adapted through the ups and downs of Real Estate and Alan Bourke couldn’t be more thankful.
The families and loved ones of the Bourkes team can’t go unnoticed either. “Let the record show that if I had to make a speech, I would have also thanked my wife,” Alan smiled. “All of the partners and families of our team have largely contributed to our success. Their understanding of our industry, and in particular the weekend work required from a large portion of our team, is appreciated every day.”
Perhaps most importantly, the loyalty and support Bourkes has received from their clients over the years has been at times overwhelming. “Needless to say, we have our clients to thank. They have been beyond supportive and instrumental to our success over the years,” stated Bourke.
Bourkes will be officially inducted into the Awards for Excellence Hall of Fame at a special ceremony in Hobart next year. Alan Bourke looks forward to accepting the award on the 16th of May and starting a new chapter in the Bourkes experience.
